Hunter’s Breakfast with Deer Heart, Liver, & Kidney


1 Deer Heart
1 Deer Liver
1 Deer Kidney
Flour (to dust the cuts)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp sunflower oil
Maple syrup


1.  Slice the heart, liver, and kidney into ½ inch strips
2. Dust the pieces in seasoned flour (this will help maintain crispiness)
3. Fry pieces in a hot oiled pan
4. Drizzle with maple syrup

Best served with fried eggs, bacon, and toast!
